Celebrate Messiah has been sharing the love of Messiah with Jewish people in Australia since it was founded in 1995 by Lawrence and Louise Hirsch. Lawrence is a Jewish believer in Yeshua (Jesus) and the current Executive Director of Celebrate Messiah.

Celebrate Messiah is an interdenominational, evangelistic society dedicated to raising the banner of Messiah amongst God’s ancient people in Australia and abroad through our partnership with Chosen People Global Ministries.

In Melbourne, Celebrate Messiah has been reaching out to both English speaking and Russian speaking Jewish people and we have planted a messianic congregation called Beit HaMashiach. Beit HaMashiach provides the community with Hebrew classes, an Art Gallery, Ministries for our Children, Youth, and Young Adults, an outreach to Russian speaking Jews called Dom Missi’ee, a bookshop with resources on Messianic Judaism and an Outreach ministry called Tikkun Olam, which provides food parcels to Jewish people in need. Celebrate Messiah also has an outreach team in Sydney and the Sunshine Coast.

Celebrate Messiah is currently undertaking the building of the first custom-made Messianic Centre and Synagogue in the Southern Hemisphere, which will provide for the rapid growth of all its current ministries, for the purpose of providing a mission and ministry facility as a vital means of reaching out to Jewish people in Australia and abroad. We value the opportunity to be an evangelistic resource to the local church, lending expertise, pastoral care and follow-up of Jewish people as well as Gentiles with a heart for Jewish people. We value the opportunity to edify the local church through various, creative and professional presentations, like Messiah in the Passover, the Gospel in the Feasts of Israel, Credentials of the Messiah, Personal Testimonies and Evangelistic Messages. Celebrate Messiah has helped plant an innovative and effective ministry to Jewish people in New Zealand.

In September 2004 Celebrate Messiah pioneered a new work amongst the “Forgotten Jews of Far East Russia” in the region of Birobidzhan (the Jewish Autonomous Region). Today Celebrate Messiah has a network of messianic outreaches and fellowships across the Far East of Russia, Siberia and the Ural mountains. Celebrate Messiah in Birobidzhan has a Messianic Synagogue in the heart of the Jewish Autonomous Region of Russia – Birobidzhan. Celebrate Messiah began an outreach ministry in this remote region of the Far East of Russia in September 2004.
